The Coach House

This charming converted coach house is a private haven in the heart of the seaside village of Liscannor on the beautiful west coast of County Clare on the Wild Atlantic Way. The house itself is a recently converted 100-year-old stonebuilt fully detached house, with views of Liscannor tower and the tower at Hag's Head (south end of the Cliffs of Moher).

It is ideal for two couples or a family, with 2 double bedrooms and an additional single bed, a shower room/toilet, a full kitchen and a private cobblestone courtyard for outdoor dining, bar-b-ques, or relaxing in the sun.

The holiday home is located just off the main road and is within a short walk of the famous Liscannor pubs, an award-winning seafood restaurant, the village Church (RC), a shop and petrol station, as well as the village harbour, a launching point for boat tours to the Cliffs of Moher. A short drive away are internationally famous attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher with its cliff side walk and newly built interpretive centre, several stunning beaches and Lahinch Golf Club with 18 holes of top-flight links. Also close by is the 12th c. ruin of the church of Kilmacreehy.

A little further brings you to the Burren limestone landscape, as well as historic Ennistymon with its art galleries and traditional shop fronts, Doolin with its famous cave and ferries to the Aran Islands, Miltown Malbay (famous for traditional Irish music and the location of the annual Willie Clancy Week music festival). Galway city, Limerick city, Shannon Airport, Aran Islands, and Ennis are all within easy reach.
